Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a charge for the first call?
No. The first call is a conversation about your photos: how many you have, where they are, and what you would like to end up with. There is no obligation. Once your project begins, the review sessions and calls planned in your quote are included in its price. If you ever need more time than we planned, we'll talk with you about it first, so there are no surprises on your bill.
How much does photo organizing cost?
Photo library organizing starts at $750, and we give you a fixed quote before any work begins, so you know the price up front. Album curation is $149 and is credited in full toward your Treasure Album if you order within 60 days. Prices are before tax.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size of your collection and how many places your photos are stored. A smaller library can take a few weeks; a large one spread across many devices can take a couple of months. Your written quote includes a timeline, and much of the pace depends on how quickly we can go through questions together.
Will you delete any of my photos?
Only with your approval. We always work on a copy of your collection, so your originals stay exactly as they are. Duplicates and near-identical shots are set aside for you to review before anything is removed.
Do I need to give you my passwords?
No. You sign in yourself while we work together by screen-share, or you share access that you can switch off at any time. We do not keep your passwords.
What devices and accounts can you work with?
Phones, computers, external hard drives, USB sticks, memory cards, CDs and DVDs, and cloud accounts such as Apple Photos, iCloud and Google Photos. If your photos are somewhere else, ask us on the call.
Do you come to my home?
Yes. We work in person within 60 miles of Belton, including Temple, Killeen, Georgetown, Round Rock, Austin and Waco, and up to 100 miles by arrangement. Digital photo organizing and album curation can also be done remotely anywhere in the US.
Can you organize printed photos as well?
Yes. We can scan the prints that matter and merge them into your organized library, so everything lives in one place. For a box of prints you would like turned straight into a photo book, see our Scan & Album Package.
How will I receive my organized photos?
Whichever way suits you: on a USB or external hard drive, back into your Apple Photos or Google Photos library, or as a shared download link. If you would like a new drive, we include its cost in your quote.
Do I have to order an album?
No. Photo organizing stands on its own. Many families do choose to turn their favorites into a Treasure Album afterwards, and we mark those favorites with you along the way.
